This variety of Fig was cultivated by Willadean Johnson near Red River in Oklahoma, before being moved to Tulsa where it has been growing for the last 30+ years. Willadean is easy to propigate and is a fast grower. 
 
Growing conditions: 
Prefers full sun and well-drained, acidic soil
Can tolerate a variety of soils
Can grow in Zone 6, 7 and warmer
Can be grown in a pot and brought indoors
